Changes

There have been quite a few changes happen over the last month in our household.

Claire has become a climber.  It doesn't matter if it's a couch, chair, table, ladder - she's not picky

She also has become a daddy's girl...

Claire has become my little helper.  She is always ready with a pacifier if Luke starts crying!



She made the switch to her big girl bed yesterday... so far so good!





Baby Luke tried rice cereal for the first time this week and loved it!

I guess some things don't change... :)

First Swim of the Season

Will someone please stop this little girl from growing up so fast?? 

Seriously... 

Claire enjoyed her first swim of the season at Gigi and Pop's house this last weekend.

This girl would live in the water if we let her!!

Sunday Funday...

As soon as we got home from church she kept asking if we could go for a walk.  After nap time Russ and I finally gave in.  Once she saw the park - she said "oh wow... cooool!!" and took off!

He slept the whole time we were there...

3 Months New

Our little Luke is three months old today!!  Each day that passes he becomes less of a newborn and more of a baby.  In the past month he has become quite the flirt, especially when its time for bed. 
Over the last month - he has rolled from front to back a few times... mainly from his head being so heavy.  He always looks so surprised!  Luke has also found his hands, he spends most of the time either looking at them or trying to stuff them into his mouth.
Russ and I are still waiting for him to sleep a longer at night.  The longest he has gone is 5 hours between feedings... but that was only twice. .
He still eats every 2 1/2 - 3 1/2 hours, wears 3-6 mo. clothes and wears a size 2 diaper.

Tuff gets the second most smiles from Luke. 
I think I get the most...like i said, he likes to eat! :)

Luke experienced his first Ash Wednesday :)

Easter Pictures

Nana came to visit this weekend while Russ was turkey hunting.  Lucky Russ got two nights of uninterrupted sleep...  However, while he was away - Nana and I took the kiddos to have some Easter Portraits done.  Claire had never been to a "studio" place before and was a little unsure about everything. 

We did get some really cute pictures.  Thanks Aunt Kim for the Easter dress :)

New Kitchen

Since we'll be putting our house on the market in a month or so... we decided it was high time we updated our kitchen.  It only took us 3 years of talking about it to finally get out act together and do it.

Our new counter tops!! It might not be granite - but it's 10 times better than green formica!

Russ and I are thrilled with how they turned out!  If only we had it done when we first bought the house...

At least we get to enjoy them for a little bit :)
